Article 36, Academic Operations Regulations Chapter 7 Section 1

Definition

Certificate of graduation (Korean) is indicated as completion of more than ½ of other department’s basic curriculum besides of the primary major and the secondary major.

minor is not for the secondary major.

Eligibility

Enrolled students who are assigned by the primary major and register more than 3 semesters.

Range of applying department

• Department same as (similar to) the primary major cannot be applied.
• minor of the department (college) which is not established in Sejong campus can be completed in Seoul campus.
• If same (similar) department (college) is established in Seoul campus and Sejung campus, minor should be completed in belonging campus.
• Students who apply college of education are limited to students whose first major is education.

  But, class of 2006 & 2007 in minor of college of education is 10% of fixed number by department and from class of 2008, minor of the department of education is not recruited in accordance with the abolition of teacher qualification system (Ministry of Education) by minor.

• Department of law, department of medicine, department of nursing, department of computer education, department of cyber defense and department of pharmacy cannot apply minor.

Application Period

Early Mar.(first semester), early Sep. (second semester)

Application Procedure

• Writing of application
• Writing of completed subject nomination in minor desirable department
• Confirmation and signature of minor principal and belonging department
• Submission of application to school affairs division of corresponding college
