Article 25 (Term of Study), Academic Operations Regulations Article 58 (Early Graduation: General)

Definition

Shorten the school year required by national legislations or school bylaws for graduation

Eligibility

  1. 1Those who have registered for more than 17(18) credits every semester (However, over 15 credits are required to acknowledge university exchange credits), and does not have a ‘F’ grade.
  2. 2Those who have earned from more than 108 up to 117 credits (more than108 credits for those requiring 130 credits for graduation; more than 112 for those requiring 135 graduation credits; more than 117 for those requiring 140 graduation credits) by the end of their 6th or 7th semester of study
  3. 3Those with a total grade point average of 4.0 or higher However, the total grade includes abandon re-registration and required credit courses

Graduation Criteria

  1. 1Early graduation applicants must obtained graduation requirements set by each college (department) in order to apply
  2. 2If the Early graduation applicants did not fulfill the necessary graduation requirements set by each college (department), then the application is automatically cancelled. (If cancelled or eliminated during early graduation application, the student must register and complete the regular semesters (8 semesters or more))
  3. 3Early Graduation applicants must have a total grade point average of 4.0 or higher

Conditions

  1. 1Student with no academic warning in any semester
  2. 2Transfer students excluded
  3. 3Completing 17 (18) credits each semester (applied from the grades in 2003)
  4. 4Student with grade that corresponds to F (applied from the grades in 2003)
  5. 5The following is excluded from early graduation
    - Students of Architecture at College of Engineering, College of Medicine, Department of Cyber Defense, College of Pharmacy
    - Transfer students
    - Students with academic warning

Application Period

Early March (First semester), Early September (2 semester)
