Introduction

The Department of Public Sociology and Korean Unification/Diplomacy contributes to developing society with a focus on Public Sociology. In addition, specializes in the study of relations between North and South Korea.

Public Sociology aims to help students understand and actively resolve social issues in the areas of education, environment, crime, and welfare, by studying social policy, social economics, and social statistics.

Korean Unification was born with the mission of fostering students as global leaders. In the hopes of broadening their knowledge and developing their global perspectives, students are required to study four areas- the North, reunification, diplomacy, and security.

The Department of Public Sociology and Korean Unification/Diplomacy strives, therefore, for cultivating professionals who can suggest solutions to social issues and are capable of understanding the need for a reunified Korea.
