Go, cultural contents!
Culture contents major is filled with excitement and fun for all 4 years.

Cultural contents that people enjoy deliver fun and enjoyment to them in any kind of form. Studying about what brings fun and enjoyment to people, and creating such cultural contents is everything there is to Division of Culture Contents. Learning process is fun, and its result is fun, therefore, the major itself is fun for all 4 years.

Division of Culture Contents pursues balanced harmony between theory and practice.
Theory alone isn’t enough. But focusing on practice alone isn’t good either. Competitive cultural contents are created through the balance between theory and practice. Division of Culture Contents at Korea University offers high-level practice education by inviting field experts along with theoretical study on cultural contents of different genres. It discovers good contents through balanced harmony of theory and practice, and trains talented human resources in cultural contents that can create such contents properly.

Cultural contents is the most promising area in humanities-based fields.
Understanding of human is required to deliver fun and enjoyment. This is the study of humanities. Various forms of cultural contents are created based on humanities, and they are achieving tremendous industrial results as seen in the global achievements of Korean Wave. This industrial achievement signifies more opportunities of advancement for students that are studying cultural contents. Therefore, cultural contents is one of the most promising areas of humanities-based fields.

Here it is, KU-S.T.A.R! KU-STAR is the desirable character that Division of Culture Contents aims for.
We develop the qualifications necessary to participate actively in cultural contents field and form the attitude as an individual professional to build them into the best stars that are welcomed in Korea’s cultural contents field.

KU-STAR is born through systematic curriculum and thorough student management.
Competent cultural contents talent can’t be trained simply by handing over the knowledge. We support students to become professionals with outstanding qualifications and sound attitude thorough strict management in addition to 4 years of curriculum.
