Korea University Sejong Campus Produces Host of Applicants Who Pass CPA, CTA, and Grade 7 National Certified Tax Accountant Public Officer Test

 

Korea University Sejong Campus produced sixteen applicants who passed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) test, the Certified Tax Accountant (CTA) test, and the Grade 7 National Certified Tax Accountant Public Officer test, demonstrating that the school is highly adept at training talented individuals in the accounting and tax fields.  

 

On August 27, the Sejong Campus produced eight students who passed the 56th CPA test announced by the Financial Supervisory Service.

 

Eleven students passed the test last year, and eight students passed it this year, for a total of nineteen successful students over the last two years, a great achievement considering it was especially difficult to prepare for the test due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The announcement of applicants who passed the second 2020 CTA test delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic was on March 3. A total of seven students from the Sejong Campus received tax accountant certificates. A total of two students passed the second 2019 CTA test, meaning the number of students passing this year was a considerable increase, further demonstrating the Sejong Campus’s capability in the tax field.  

 

Meanwhile, one person passed the Grade 7 National CTA Public Officer Test.

 

The sixteen students in the Ji-Gwan-Jung, a CPA preparatory class, passed the test, and if students who were not in the class had passed the test, the number of passing students could have been higher.

 

The Sejong Campus remarkably produced twenty-nine accountant-tax experts (only from Ji-Gwan-Jung) from 2020 to 2021 (those who passed the CTA tests from 2019 to 2020) including the sixteen students who passed the CPA test, the CTA test, and the Grade 7 National CTA Public Officer Test in 2021.
