Many members of the teaching staff who have showed passion and devotion for the school’s development retired in 2017.

Professor Seon Junggyu from the Department of Chinese Studies in the College of Global Business was part of the Seochang planning and promotion processes, the head of the Korean Studies Laboratory, and the Sejong Campus vice-president. Professor Jeong Gyunhwa was the head of the Department of Education and Scholarship, the head of the Laboratory of Industrial Development, the director of the Graduate School of Management and Information and the Shin Sujeong BT Convergence Incubation Support center, and the head of the Human Resource Development Center.

Professor Kim Hyungbae from the Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics in the College of Science & Technology endeavored to raise junior scholars as the dean of the College of Science & Technology. Professor Lee Gyeseong from Data Computational Sciences was the head of the library and also the dean of the College of Science & Technology. Professor Hwang Hanjun from the Department of Food and Biotechnology was the head of the BT Convergence Incubation Support Center, the head of the Health and Bio-Food Industrial Complex, the manager of the NURI Foodbio Industrial Complex, and the head of the library.

Lastly, Lee Gyoseop from the Department of Economic Policy in the College of Public Policy has contributed to the development of the school as a member of the staff responsible for evaluating the performance of the university’s teaching faculty. We hope that the retired staff will support the further development of Korea University Sejong Campus as honorary professors.
